Campaigns Looking for Players

  •
  • GM: Kirk Hess (khess@yahoo.com)
  • System: D&D 4e
  • Number of Players Needed: 2+
  • Campaign Length: H series
  • Time: Monday 6:30pm (e-mail for info)
  • Location: IMU
  • Campaign Summary:  When WotC decided to restart 'lettered' adventures, I figured I'd use my top secret WotC contact to get all three and try to run them as a single campaign.  The adventure starts with H1 Keep on the Shadowfell, continues with H2 Thunderspire Labyrinth and concludes with H3 Pyramid of Shadows.   Your basic dungeon crawl adventures.

Note: Changed day of the week & just started H2.

  • GM: Sarah Tilson (jackofnone @ clockwork-harlequin.net)
  • System: Grimm
  • Number of Players Needed: 2-4
  • Proposed Campaign Length: 8-10 Sessions
  • Campaign Summary: It isn't anything like you read in the stories. Everything is WRONG here, like they all went stir-crazy, cooped up in those books.

    And what's worse, there's a war on.

Everywhere you go, they speak of one name -- the Rotten King. The lord of the black castle that you can always see, no matter how far away you stray from the Great and Awful Forest. He's sat in his castle for who knows how long, watching and thinking and stewing his plans inside that broken brain of his. And now, he's begun to move. The kingdom of Old King Cole has already fallen, they say, and the Fiddlers Three scattered to the Four Winds -- the Rotten King is pushing North. Towards the cruel spires of the Snow Queen, towards St Agnes Fountain where Good King Wenceslas has his beggar's throne, towards Hickory Dickory Dock, the great clocktower of the Grimm Lands.

There's a story to be had here, and it looks more and more like you might be the center of it. They don't get many children around these parts, after all. Maybe the story will end happily ever after. Maybe, if you're brave and clever like the storybooks say, you'll find your way down the long, dark road home. But hurry...there's only so much longer before the Clock strikes one and the Mouse runs down.

Here comes a candle to light you to bed

Here comes a chopper to chop off your head

(Chip chop chip chop - The last man's dead.)

  • Storyteller: Sterling Jenson (sterlingjenson@gmail.com)
  • System: Hunter the Vigil (World of Darkness)
  • Number of Players: 4-5
  • Length: As long as needed to work through the plot.
  • Summary: The location is Glasgow (and the Other City) and characters take the roles of local hunters for the Ashwood Abbey who are trying to protect Glasgow from monsters creeping through the night.  By protecting Glasgow from monsters, I of course mean the characters are trying to protect themselves from boredom.  Glasgow has a strange fate; every once in a while Glasgow gets taken over by the Other City.  When this Other City appears, it has a different name each time.  Roles change in this Other City; a wealthy citizen of Glasgow might find himself to be a beggar, while a loving mother might find herself to be a seriel killer and arsonist.  Each time the Other City appears more of Glasgow is taken over.  Can the players figure out what is going on before the other reality becomes this reality?

  • GM: Michael Ullom (michaelullom @ gmail.com)
  • System: Earthdawn
  • Number of Players Needed: FULL!
  • Proposed Campaign Length: Weekly, as long as fun.
  • Campaign Summary: For the first time in 400 years, there are those who have seen the Sun. It is beautiful far beyond the description of the books in your caverns. Hearing the tales of a new world, you are among those leaving the safety of the Kaers to find out for yourselves if the Horrors have truly left the lands of Barsaive. If there is a place for Name Givers in this new world, you will find it. If there is not, those who oppose you will pay dear in blood
  • Notes: Earthdawn is the high fantasy companion to Shadowrun. The general tone of the setting is that of a dark, high fantasy. The game will focus on discovery, combat, and social intrigue.

  • GM: Matthew Mckitrick (endril @ gmail.com)
  • System: Exalted 2nd Edition
  • Number of Players Needed: FULL!
  • Proposed Campaign Length:
  • Campaign Summary: A Lunars/Solars game set sixty years after the 'official' Exalted canon. The Realm's power is waning, a new constellation hangs in the sky, and the Fair Folk and the armies of the Deathlords still creep across the land. In the far southeast corner of Creation, a group of Lunar and Solar Exalted have begun to build a city that they hope will rival (and eventually replace) the decaying empire of the Dragon-Blooded.

  • GM: Andrew Ferguson (d.l.fergus @ gmail dot com)

  • Proposed Campaign Length: 3-5 sessions
  • Campaign Summary:'' Pulp-stlyle WWII heroes fight Erwin Rommel raised from the dead and his legion of Nazi stormtroopers riding pterodactyls and the nefarious forces responsible for his return!
